Torrey deVitto is a famous American actress and musician who was born in the city of Huntington, New York on 8th June 1984. She was a popular American performer, actor and former model. Torrey lived in Winter Park Florida. Torrey DeVitto comes from Italian roots. In 4th grade she played the violin in her school's orchestra. In later years, at Christie Brinkley and Peter Cook Cook's weddings she played as a performer. Torrey's father was the drummer for Billy Joel. Billy Joel made a unique announcement while performing at the Wembley Arena that DeVitto who was on the drums for the concert was blessed with an infant on the day causing overwhelming applause for DeVitto during the concert. Torrey DeVitto had her debut acting role on The WB show Safe Harbor in 1999. Torrey is quite renowned for her dramatic character roles such as in her role in the ABC Family drama arrangement Pretty Little Liars as Melissa Hastings in The CW supernatural drama for teens The Vampire Diaries as Dr. Meredith Fell and in The CW TV series One Tree Hill as Carrie. Torrey was appointed hospice ambassador by the Palliative Care Organization in 2011. She also supports and promotes PETA HSUS and RAINN associations. Torrey Dvitto is a mental illness advocate who has brought mental health issues into the spotlight in the month of Mental Health Month in May, as part of National Alliance. She shares the story of Road to Hope which focuses on the provision of palliative care in Uganda.

She has been involved in many legal matters and has even spent several years in jail due to her violent behavior.
